L'OREAL LASH PARADISE EXTATIC - MASCARA

I know I'm kind of late to talking about this release but here I am haha

I'd bought this mascara a few months ago when it was all over social media and I have been using it since then.

It quicky became my new favorite mascara (but after using it for a few months I began to see it's flaws haha)

It is reaaaaally soft on the lashes, both the application and the feeling of the lashes when it's dryed. 

It builds EXTATIC volume and gives lots of length.

But.. this only in the first month or so.. because it has a really dry formula and it starts to dry even more very quickly and it's losing it's power.

The packaging also isn't very friendly as in the excess on the brush ends up building at the top of the tube and it goes everywhere.

But it is still a bomb mascara. False lashes effect? fo sure!

It also doesn't smudge or flawe throughout the day.

So the only disappointment is it's formula.. waaay too dry for me.

But I will definitely buy it again lolz.

(L'Oreal Telescopic remains my favourite mascara ever though)

Ca sa fiu sincera.. 1001 cosmetice e mereu site-ul meu preferat pentru make-up sau ingrijire.

Au absolut toate produsele pe care le folosesc regulat si pe care le iubesc.

GROW LONG AND STRONG HAIR FAST

I've always had an addiction to hair dyes. I've gone from my natural hair colour to red, black, brown, blonde, back to black, blonde again, then brown in the end.

This whole process included several hair bleaching sessions. Therefore my hair was pretty much dead.

I recently had cut 20cm of my hair (dead hair haha) in order to let it grow back to my natural hair colour and my natural heathy hair.

I have to admit I often have times when I want to dye my hair so badly but I have to be patient to let it grow long again before doing that.

Throughout the years I've found the best tips to help my hair get stronger and grow faster.

Here are my best tips:

1. Nutrition

We all know that what we put inside our body can reflect on the outside. Eating heathy (fruits, vegetable, whole grains, protein, healthy fats) is the key to healthy hair.

2. Water

Our body is made out of a high percent of water. In order for the cells to grow they need good nutrition and loads of water.

3. No heat

This is one of the most important tips out there. Our hair is not used to having an iron up to 220 degrees on it, drying it out. If you use heat you may not see the damage it does at first but after using it constantly, the hair gets dry and brittle. And grows so much slower. Try using heat 2 times per week at first, then once, untill the point you don't use it only for special occasions. 

4. Natural hair masks

As I said, the nutrition is the key to healthy hair. But that doesn't mean that you can't help it through the outside. You can use NATURAL (!) hair masks at home every so often. For example: olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil, avocado, bananas, eggs (I'll make a post all about natural hair masks).

5. Trims

Everybody says that in order to grow your hair you need to cut your hair every 3 months. Well that isn't necessarily true. You have to get to know your hair. When your hair gets dry at the ends, when you get split ends etc. That's when you need to cut it.

6. Wear it up

Having your hair in a bun or pony tail prevents it from excessive damage. When you always wear your hair down, it gets rubbed to your cothing and shoulders and split ends come through.

7. Sleep with it in a bun

When you sleep you tend to move from one side to another and the hair gets rubbed to your pillow case. Welcome split ends.

8. Let it be

Try not to tease it, use harmful chemicals on it such as hairspray. And try to NOT wash it every single day. If your hair gets oily very easily and can not not wash it daily, try not washing it for 2 days and wear it up on the second day. And once it get used to the 2nd day, try uping to 3 days.
Washing your hair too often is so bad for your hair and it actually dries it out and strips it out of it's natural oils which are actually good for it, and for helping it grow stronger and healthier.

MAC ANGEL DUPE - AVON

We never like spending loads of money on every make-up product we buy obviously soooo.. we're very happy when we find dupes of the high-end products we love :)

I've bought my first MAC lipstick ever in the shade: Angel, because I knew Megan Fox used to love it and of course I had to buy it just for that reason haha.

Few months later, I had placed an AVON order. I was in need of a very moisturising face mask. Surprise surprise I've had to order a few other producs, one of them being a lipstick in the shade: Pout.

 Imagine my surprise when I came home and tried the lipstick. 

Exact match to the Angel one from MAC.

It has the same exact finish, the same exact colour. If you're a fan of the MAC lipstick and your pocket is kinda thin.. go buy the Avon one instead!

THE BALM - MARY LOU-MANIZER - ELF dupe

I've been a big fan of the Mary-Lou from the balm.

I use it every day for both my cheeckbones and my eyelids (hint: it makes blue eyes look stunning)

 

One day I was clearing out my make-up collection and found an ELF (EyesLipsFace) blush in the shade Pinktastic.

I knew I had it but I remember me not liking blush, and it has some pink pigment through it.

I was courious so I swatched it one more time, avoiding the pink area. AND OMG! I remember thinking that it is so pigmented and so beautiful!

Next minute I thought that it reminded me of something that I already had: The Mary Lou-Manizer.

Let me just show you the pictures and they will talk though themselfes.

Obviously the Balm's product is more pigmented and intense but the ELF's one is not far behind.

RIMMEL LONDON - FIX & PERFECT make-up primer (DRUGSTORE)

EN: I have always been looking for a really good drugstore make-up primer that keeps my make-up intact and that doesn't make my skin shiny. That being said, I have found my favourite one:

The Rimmel London Fix&Perfect make-up primer (shade 002 - Transparent)

RO: Mereu am fost in cautarea unei baze de machiaj accesibile care ar fi capabila sa imi mentina machiajul intact si care sa nu imi faca tenul super lucios. Acestea fiind spuse, am gasit una perfecta pentru tenul meu:

Baza de machiaj de la Rimmel London Fix&Perfect (nuanta 002 - Transparent) ~ 30 RON in DM.

 

EN: The ingredients are very simmilar to the Sephora Smoothing Primer (this one contains only 3 ingredients while the Rimmel London one contains these 3 + other ones)

The Rimmel London primer has 1 fl oz (30ml) while the Sephora one has 0.5 fl oz (15 ml).

The drugstore one is half the price of the Sephora one but it has twice as much product!

RO: Ingredientele sunt asemanatoare cu cele ale bazei de machiaj Sephora Smoothing Primer (acesta contine doar 3 ingrediente pe cand cea de la Rimmel London contine cele 3 + altele)

Baza de machiaj de la Rimmel London are 30 ml iar cea de la Sephora 15ml.

Primul produs este jumatate din pretul celui de la Sephora si contine o cantitate dubla de produs!

EN: Favourite drugstore primer. Why? Because it does everything that says on the packaging. It smoothes the skin so that the foundation could go on smootly, it hydrates the skin and the most important thing: it keeps the make-up in place all day long!

RO: Baza mea preferata de machiaj! De ce? Pentru ca face tot ceea ce spune pe ambalaj. Da un finish frumos tenului pentru ca fondul de ten sa se aplice usor si frumos, hidrateaza tenul si cel mai important lucru: face machiajul sa reziste intreaga zi!

AVON ULTRA COLOUR LIPSTICK - review & swatch (EN&RO)

Happy 1st post on this blog! 💓

EN: Today's post is about the AVON Ultra Colour Lipstick in the shade power plum.

The colour of this lipstick is a-ma-zing.

Since it's from AVON, it is very easy to get your hands on it especially because it is very affordable.

RO: Postarea de astazi este despre rujul din gama Ultra Colour Lipstick de la Avon in nuanta power plum.

Culoarea rujului este su-per-ba.

Acest ruj este foarte bland cu buzunarul nostru si e foarte usor de cumparat.

EN: Opinion: Well, the shade is just bomb. I really wasn't expecting it to be as pigmented as it really is.

This lipstick range is very moisturising and has a really great colour payoff.

RO: Opinie: Ei bine, culoarea acestui ruj e bestiala. Nu ma asteptam sa fie atat de pigmentat pe cat e.

Rujurile din aceasta gama sunt foarte hisratante si au o culoare foarte vibranta. 

EN: Because of it being moisturising and creamy, (it is not drying at all! & it also has a shiny finish), it wears off after a few hours/after eating.

So, the only downside about this is the staying power.

The price is amazing, this shade is blue based so it makes your teeth super white, and it is veeery pigmented as I said before.

 

 RO: Din cauza ca este hidratant si cremos, (nu e uscat deloc & are un efect lucios dar nu ca si un luciu de buze evident) se sterge dupa cateva ore/dupa ce mananci.

Deci singura parte proasta e durata lui pe buze.

Pretul e foarte bun, culoarea are un subton albastru deci iti va face dintii super albi.

EN: Also, this colour is very simmilar to MAC Rebel! :)

If you are on a budget and if you love hydrating and pigmented lipsticks, you have to try one lipstick from this range! 💓

RO: Pe langa cele spuse, aceasta nuanta este similara cu nuanta Rebel de la MAC! :)

Daca nu prea ai banuti la indemana si iubesti rujurile hidratante si pigmentate, trebuie sa incerci un ruj din aceasta gama! 💓
